These fine brooms come from the shadow of Deomali –the highest peak of Odisha. The villagers from Narayanpatna, Kotiya & Pottangi isolated villages located at the base of the peaks, harvest the naturally  growing grasses by hand. The stalks are then dried and processed to produce one of the best-quality brooms available in India. Skilled women members bind the grass precisely in steel and plastic handles.
